Kendra Brim is an experienced practitioner specializing in Diversity, Equity, and
Inclusion (DEI) and racial equity, with nearly 15 years of expertise across various
sectors including project management, healthcare, non-profit organizations,
education, and technology. As the Principal Consultant of K. Savannah Consulting,
she leads a DEI firm dedicated to implementing strategies that optimize
organizational potential and foster cultural transformation. Kendra is also the
founder of Out of Bounds, a company that empowers current and former student
athletes with essential life skills for success.

With a robust background in project management, including oversight of
multimillion-dollar projects, Kendra has played a pivotal role in driving success for
numerous organizations. Her focus lies in enhancing cultural competency through
immersive learning experiences and transparent opportunities. She prioritizes personalized approaches tailored to each organization’s unique identity, mission, values, and objectives. Kendra holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Management, and a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell’s ILR School.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Kendra received a Division I Basketball Scholarship to Colgate University, where she studied Political Science and African American Studies. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President for the National Urban League Young Professionals, she is actively involved in various boards and organizations including the Buffalo Urban League, United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, Say Yes Buffalo, and the PGA of Western New York. Kendra is also a co-host of The Black Gems Dive In Podcast, exploring topics related to inclusive cultures and DEI.

Among her notable achievements, Kendra established Black Restaurant Week under the Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals in 2018. She has been honored with prestigious awards such as the Buffalo Business First IDEA Award (2022), Buffalo Urban League Rising Leaders Award (2021), NAACP Buffalo Branch Black Achievers Award (2019), and Mayor Byron Brown&’s Commitment to Service Award (2019), among others. In her leisure time, Kendra enjoys watching movies, spending quality time with family, and exploring new destinations through travel.
