This is the time of year when we start to wind down, prepare for the holidays, spend more time with family, and take extended vacations from work to reset for the upcoming New Year. Personally, I begin thinking about what my focus and goals will be for the next 365 days.

After turning 40 in October and sensing the rapidly approaching new year, my already overactive mind picked up speed. It says, “Morgan, you need to tackle this and put more time into that because time is rushing forward. Get moving!

But, last week I paused when I saw a post on social media which said,
“God can do a lot by December 31st!”

That one sentence was and is an important truth. The impact of that simple but utter truth, pulled me back into the present and possibilities of 2021. That sentence reminded me that enjoying the current moment in life is just as important as preparing for future moments. Fast forwarding into 2022 could cause me to miss God’s current blessings.

As I’ve said before, “If God can build Heaven and Earth in 6 days and rest on the 7th, He can surely do a lot in the time we have left in this year.” I encourage you, my fellow Champions, to pull out your list of prayers, goals, desires, or whatever you’ve titled them and go into prayer. Activate your faith, believing that when He said His word does NOT return to Him void, He meant it. Matthew 11:24 states, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

What is your bold request for God to show off His power this month?

Do you believe He can do it for you? I do. My bold request for this December is that as this new student loan forgiveness program goes into effect, my loan will be one of those forgiven by the 31st of this month.

Please email me at EAT@mwbignites.com to share your prayer, so that I can include your request in my December War Room.

“God can do a lot by December 31st!”
