Dr. Ramona Reynolds is the perfect example of stepping out and pursuing additional passions. Life doesn’t have to be one dimensional. Dr. Reynolds has been an educator for over 28 years. She began her career as a teacher in the Buffalo Public School District in 1993 and transitioned into the roles of assistant principal at her alma mater Buffalo Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts and also principal of West Hertel Academy, Bennett High School, and Dr. Martin Luther King Multicultural Institute respectively. Dr. Reynolds currently leads BPS’ Division of Family and Community Engagement.

In January 2021, she added entrepreneur to her portfolio by launching a new business entitled Pawpular Expressions. This endeavor was birthed out of the love that she and her husband Samuel experienced as dog parents, for over ten years, to their fiercely loyal 65 pound Boxer (Icey) and 140 pound Doberman (Nubi). The business mission is to provide pet-inspired products and events that encourage unabashed adoration for furry friends and those who love them.

Pawpular Expression kicked off its inaugural event in July with a highly successful Strut Your Pup Contest and Dog Walk held at Delaware Park. In November, Pawpular Expressions debuted its online store featuring a small collection of dog harnesses, leashes, dental chew toys, as well as a special dog and cat greeting card.

Each year, Pawpular Expressions will donate a portion of proceeds to an organization that benefits pets.
